Operation
Myopia

Myopia surgery involves reshaping the curvature of the cornea to reduce it (flattening). This will bring the image back into focus on the retina.

Possible techniques :

Operation Hyperopia

Hyperopia surgery consists in reshaping the curvature of the cornea to increase it (camber). This will bring the image back into focus on the retina.

Possible techniques :

Operation Astigmatism

It involves reshaping the curvature of the cornea to make it spherical instead of elliptical. This will bring the image back into focus on the retina.

Possible techniques :

Operation
Presbyopia

Presbyopia surgery involves reshaping the curvature of the cornea to restore near vision. The treatment profile is tailored to each individual patient.

Follow-up appointments

Once our orthoptists have carried out the examinations (pentacam and orbscan corneal topography, aberrometry, etc.), the ophthalmologist will tell you which technique is best suited to your case and you will validate it with him.

The procedure, without needles or scalpels, lasts between 10 and 15 minutes for both eyes, depending on the technique used. You will be accompanied throughout by the Centre Ophtalmologique Laser Expert Vision team.

In the hours following the procedure, you need to remain in the semi-dark so as not to be too bothered by the light. For Lasik and SMILE, recovery takes just a few hours (4 or 5 hours). For PRK or transPKR, recovery takes longer, between 4 and 6 days.

It is performed the day after or two days after the procedure for Lasik or SMILE, and after 5 days for PRK or TransPKR.

After 2 months, an appointment is scheduled to assess the final result. Of course, the entire team is available to see you outside these appointments if necessary.

History of the center

Dr Thierry Lebrun

Having entered medical school to restore patients' sight, Dr Thierry LEBRUN naturally became interested in the recent discipline of refractive surgery.

After training with top specialists and drawing on more than two decades of experience, in 2024 he decided to set up a refractive surgery platform at the Clinique du Landy in Saint-Ouen-sur-Seine, renowned for its expertise in eye surgery. This platform comprises a latest-generation Visumax 500 femtosecond laser and a Ténéo II excimer laser. This platform enables us to perform all current techniques: PKR, transPKR, femtosecond Lasik and SMILE to treat all visual disorders: myopia, hyperopia, astigmatism and presbyopia.

After a complete check-up, your operability will be validated and the best treatment will be proposed.
